Hi, I'm James Dickson, the owner and lead renovator at Lucky Duck Renos.
With over 10 years of experience in tile installation and bathroom renovations, I've had the privilege of transforming countless bathrooms into beautiful, functional spaces. I'm always learning and perfecting my craft, and I've built a reputation for prepping and installing with precision to achieve the look and feel my clients desire.
I hold an Honours Physics degree from McMaster University. While I'm not solving equations anymore, the attention to detail, problem-solving, and commitment to quality I learned there are at the heart of my work.
At Lucky Duck Renos, I believe in delivering high-quality work while treating every project with respect. I take great pride in creating bathrooms that not only look great but function beautifully, all while ensuring the process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
When I'm not transforming bathrooms, I'm at home with my wife (we got married in October!) and our loyal dog, Mika. She's a reminder to enjoy life, even when the job is tough.

Meet Tyler the Rubber Duck
From a young age, Tyler has adored showers, initially finding joy in bubble baths. You can now find him diligently flood testing shower systems, relaxing on a bench, or indulging in sightseeing from the niche. He's our unofficial quality control inspector!
